A new propulsion for the motor ship Dalì
Since this year the motor ship Dalì has been renewed further. We had an intense period of shipbuilding and maintenance to guarantee our guests the best. In addition to a great deal of attention for carrying out the excursions, a lot of work is to be done even during the winter and Dali, for this reason, almost never stops.
This year in particular we have re-engineered the motor ship with two new engines supplied by the Boni company marine engines of Cesenatico, leader in marine propulsion in Italy.
Thanks to this intervention, by installing two new generation engines, we have reduced the environmental impact by reducing emissions and optimizing consumption.
Another very important result obtained with this intervention is the improvement of comfort on board while sailing. In addition to improving the soundproofing, these new engines are very quiet.
Even the Captain Nicola Carli is extremely satisfied and thinks that navigation will certainly be more comfortable and the excursion improved. This is a hight costly investment but which nevertheless allows to optimize the excursion and to reduce the environmental impact and energy consumption.
Other improvements carried out during the winter are: complete painting of the hull, the seats, the deck of the upper deck, cleaning treatment of the deck, improvement of the audio for the upper deck and the interior lounge, improvement of night lighting with installation of led lights.
